For this couple, choosing a post-wedding photoshoot was one of the best decisions they made.

Instead of trying to squeeze portraits into an already packed wedding schedule, they dedicated a separate afternoon entirely to photography. This gave us the freedom to move slowly, explore different parts of the garden, and wait for the best light without worrying about missing cocktail hour or keeping guests waiting.

The difference in energy is often noticeable. Couples tend to feel more relaxed, more present, and more connected when there are no wedding-day logistics in the background.

Although this particular session was photographed after the wedding, Jevremovac Botanical Garden is equally beautiful for many other occasions.

If you’re planning a surprise proposal in Belgrade, the garden offers several romantic locations with plenty of privacy. Spring and early summer are especially beautiful when flowers are blooming and the entire garden feels vibrant and alive.

It’s also a wonderful choice for engagement photography. The mix of natural landscapes and architectural elements allows us to create a gallery that feels diverse and sophisticated without needing multiple locations.

For couples visiting Belgrade from abroad, Jevremovac offers a side of the city that many tourists never discover. It feels calm, elegant, and distinctly different from the more popular city landmarks.

Things to Know Before Booking a Photoshoot in Jevremovac

If you’re considering Jevremovac Botanical Garden for your engagement, wedding, or couple photoshoot, there are a few practical things to keep in mind.

First, the garden requires advance booking for commercial and professional photography sessions. At the time of writing, the photography fee is approximately 8,000 RSD per hour. This fee gives you permission to photograph within the garden, but it does not reserve the entire space exclusively for your session.

Visitors will still be present, although the garden is generally much quieter than many other popular photo locations in Belgrade. In my experience, the atmosphere remains calm and pleasant, making it easy to create beautiful photographs without significant distractions.

Timing is also important.

I generally recommend scheduling sessions during softer afternoon light or around golden hour. The warm light filtering through the trees creates a romantic atmosphere and complements the garden’s natural beauty perfectly.

Spring is especially stunning, but Jevremovac photographs beautifully throughout much of the year. Every season brings a different character, from fresh spring blossoms to rich autumn colors.
